What forms of payment do you accept?
We take all forms of payment including Cash, Credit Card, Check with valid ID, contactless payment systems including Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal and Zelle.
Do I need to be home for a pick-up or other service?
Whether you are away at work or simply away for the day, do not worry! We know our customers are busy people. We can take items in driveway, side yard or backyard without anyone being home. We can also Pressure Wash with nobody home. We will give you a call to do a secure credit card transaction over the phone and we will send you an email receipt after. We can even send you pictures via text or email to verify that we are done. Our goal is to make the entire process as convenient as possible for you.
How big are your trucks?
Helpful Hands Hauling trucks are (15 cubic yards). This is about 10%-15% larger than our competitors trucks and larger than most dumpsters.
How can I save on your services?
There are a few ways to save on Junk Removal. For instance, items located in driveway, curbside or in garage are discounted 15%. Plus, our repeat customers always save $25 off every job they book with us. We also offer savings for our combo service packages. Check out our pricing page for details.
How much lead time do I have to give before a job?
One to two days is a perfect amount of time to give us before a job needs to be done. If theres a specific date you need, let us know as soon as possible to get your exact time and date saved in our scheduler. We do have same day service and after hour availability upon request. (Additional rates may apply)
Does Helpful Hands Hauling offer a dumpster service?
No, we do not currently offer this service. Helpful Hands Hauling specializes is full-service junk removal. Our team will come out the day of your scheduled appointment and remove your items from anywhere on the property, saving you the time and hassle of doing the job yourself.
How long does an average job take? What if I used multiple Services?
Average Junk Removal jobs takes anywhere from 30 min to 2 hrs depending on how much stuff needs to be taken away. Pressure washing jobs take 2-4 hours usually depending on size of home and specific cleaning needs.
Can Helpful Hands Hauling provide a Certificate of Insurance?

Do you guys offer free estimates?

Do you need to come into our home?
Not unless the items needing to be taken away are located on the outside of your home. We always wear shoe covers and can even remove our shoes when we do.

Do you guys give quotes over the phone?
Yes we do. We offer quotes for single item and smaller Junk Removal jobs easily over the phone. Larger Junk Removal jobs are a bit harder to give accurate estimates over the phone but we do offer On-Site No-Obligation Free Estimates for those jobs. We also give quotes via text when you send a picture of items or pile to 1-510-427-7240.
Do I need to provide any equipment for clean-ups
No, we provide all the equipment and solutions needed to complete any service we have to offer. Our professional and trained staff come prepared to every job unless its just strictly an estimate that needs to be done on another date. Please notify us before hand if you know this is just going to be an estimate only so we can save time and not have to load up all our equipment.
If my exterior paint is pretty old can I still get it power washed?
Yes, we can still pressure wash your home but we will use a lower pressure wash for these types of applications. We will notify you before we get started on anything we notice about your paint so you know exactly what your will be getting into. We recommend letting us know about any trouble spots you have noticed as well. Unfortunately, there still may be a little cracking but as long as you know what you are getting into beforehand your home will still look beautiful and nobody has to be held liable.
