What does Helpful Hands Hauling do?

Helpful Hands Hauling offers professional junk removal and exterior cleaning services. We can take pretty much anything from your home or business and make sure its properly disposed, recycled and donated. Our trained staff also provides Window Cleaning, Pressure Washing and Gutter Cleaning Services.

 

 What forms of payment do you accept?

We take all forms of payment including Cash, Credit Card, Apple Pay and Check with valid ID.

 

Do I need to be home for a pick-up or other service?

No you do not unless items to be removed are in home. We can take items in driveway, side yard or backyard without anyone being home. We can also Pressure Wash and Gutter Clean with nobody home. We will give you a call to do a secure credit card transaction over the phone and we will send you an email receipt after. We can even send you pictures via text or email to show you that we are done. The only other service you would need to be home is interior window cleaning unless you prefer us just clean the exterior windows.

 

How can I save on your services?

There are a few ways to save on Junk Removal. For instance, items located in driveway, curbside or in garage are discounted 15% per yard. Plus, our repeat customers always save 10% off every job they book with us. We also offer hundreds in savings for our All-In-One service packages. Check out our pricing page for details.

 

How much lead time do I have to give before a job?

Two days is a perfect amount of time to give us before a job needs to done. If theres a specific date a job needs to be done by then let us know as soon as possible to get your exact time and date saved. We do have same day service and after hour availability upon request.

 

 Does Helpful Hands Hauling offer a dumpster service?

No, we do not currently offer this service.

 

How long does an average job take?  What if I used multiple Services?

Average Junk Removal jobs take anywhere from 30 min to 2 hrs depending on how much stuff needs to be taken away. Multiple service jobs take anywhere from 1 day to 3 days again depending on size of home and amount of items that need to be taken away. Single Exterior cleaning jobs take an average of 2-4 hours to fully complete depending on size of home and specific cleaning needs.

 

Do you guys offer free estimates?

Yes, we offer Free No-Obligation estimates for all of our services. We recommend to give us a call at 1-800-817-7882 or text at 1-510-427-7240 first. This saves both parties time and we may be able to give you an estimate over the phone. This is especially useful for smaller jobs not containing many items. We also could give a close range for Pressure Washing, Gutter Cleaning and Window Cleaning services if you provide us with the window panel count and square footage of home. Pictures always help as well.

 

Do you need to come into our home?

Not unless the items needing to be taken away are located on the outside of your home. We always wear shoe covers when we do have to go inside to pull items out. The only other service we need to go inside is interior window cleaning

Do you guys give quotes over the phone?

Yes we do. We offer quotes for single item and smaller Junk Removal jobs over the phone. Larger Junk Removal jobs are a bit harder to give over the phone but we offer On-Site No-Obligation Free Estimates for those jobs. We also give quotes via text when you send a picture of item or pile to 1-510-427-7240. Window cleaning jobs can be quoted over the phone as well by sending the window panel count. Pressure Washing and Gutter Cleaning quotes can be given with square footage of home. All estimates over the phone are usually within a $50 range more or less of quoted price.

 

Do I need to provide any equipment for clean-ups

No, we provide all the equipment needed to complete any service we have to offer. Our professional and trained staff come prepared to every job unless its just strictly an estimate that needs to be done on another date.

 

Do you clean window screens and tracks also? 

Yes, we clean window screens and tracks where needed. This add-on service is an extra $3 per window.

 

If my exterior paint is pretty old can I still get it power washed?

Yes, we can still pressure wash your home but we will use a lower pressure wash for these types of applications. We will notify you before we get started on anything we notice about your paint so you know exactly what your will be getting into. We recommend letting us know about any trouble spots you have noticed as well. Unfortunately, there still may be  a little cracking  but as long as you know what you are getting into beforehand  we will not be held liable.

 

 Do you repair or replace the actual gutters themselves?

No, we do not replace or repair the gutters themselves. We clean and inspect gutters for leaks and cracks but we do not repair them. We just notify you of the problem.
